You'll love biking through the Wakatipu basin, past two lakes, three river gorges, countless mountain ranges, historic Arrowtown, crossing amazing suspension bridges, seeing the spectacle of bungy jumping and enjoying the wine area of Gibbston Valley. All trails we utilise are off-road and mostly Grade 1 to 3 for riders wanting an enjoyable, quality biking experience in one of the most beautiful areas of New Zealand renowned for its spectacular scenery. We offer bike hire, bike shuttles and bike tours for all types of riders.
We offer half day, full day, multi day rides and winery bike rides on electric bikes or regular bikes. Self-guided, supported or fully-guided options are available. We’ll take the hassle out of your planning with our local knowledge. Some brief descriptions of our tours are as follows...
Arrowtown Rides:
Arrowtown to Queenstown - A stunning 35km ride following the Arrow River, Kawarau River and then Lake Whakatipu back to Queenstown. This full day ride starts with a scenic transfer from our shop in the centre of Queenstown, taking you to Arrowtown to start your ride. Your driver with brief you on important information to do with the Queenstown Trail and the bikes before you start your ride. You then have the remainder of the day to make your way back to Queenstown at your leisure.
Arrowtown to Gibbston Valley - A beautiful 15km ride with Swing Bridges, Valleys, Rivers and Vines. This half day ride departs our shop in the morning, or the afternoon taking you on a scenic shuttle ride out to Arrowtown, where you will be briefed on all important information to do with the Queenstown Trail and bikes before you start your ride, then we collect you at 1.30pm (for the morning ride) or the end of the day ( for the afternoon ride) to deliver you back to Queenstown. Great for families!
Winery Rides:
Bike The Wineries Full Day - Start early with a Bus Transfer from our shop in central Queenstown to Arrowtown where you can enjoy breakfast and look around quaint historical buildings before setting out on your 15km scenic ride to the start of the wine region. Spend the afternoon cycling the 9km wine trail enjoying wine tastings and delicious food along the way, before being collected from your final winery and transfered back to Queenstown.
Bike The Wineries 3/4 Day - Start riding after breakfast! We shuttle you from Queenstown to Arrow Junction, 7km from the first winery, you can enjoy stunning vistas, swing bridges and rivers before you get to the wineries. From the Kawarau Bungy Bridge the Gibbston Valley Wine Region begins, enjoy as many wineries as your heart desires before getting collected at the end of the day from your last winery to be driven back to Queenstown.
Bike The Wineries Half Day - Spend an afternoon enjoying some wine in the beautiful Gibbston Valley Wine Region. Start with a shuttle from Queenstown to Arrow Junction, 7km from the start of the wineries. Then you'll enjoy 9km of wineries for you to explore. We collect you at the end of the day from one of the wineries and bring you back to Queenstown.

Ride from our shop in central Queenstown around Lake Whakatipu towards Kelvin Heights and Jacks Point, enjoy the awesome views the whole way around the lake. If your feeling adventurous try The Hugo Tunnel Loop!
