Art Map Wellington is a free guide to the Art Galleries in both central and Greater Wellington.

The website (www.artmap.co.nz) has maps, a calendar of exhibitions and a gallery directory to help you navigate your journey.

 

Personalised tours and itineraries are available on request if you would like something organised for you.

Product Description

ART MAP was created by digisauce Ltd in 2011 with the purpose of making the arts more accessible, it offers a comprehensive authorised guide to Greater Wellington’s art galleries in Aotearoa, New Zealand.

There are three resources available for free:
1. The 'Exhibitions' page shows a calendar of current and upcoming shows.

2.  The 'Galleries' page offers a full directory of the galleries with links off-site.

3. The 'ART MAP' digital maps of Central and Greater Wellington.

 

Otherwise, if you have a limited amount of time, you can email [email protected] for a guided tour or recommended itinerary.

Departure Times

Generally all of the Art Galleries are open Wednesday to Saturday and are open 10.00am  - 5.00pm.

On the other days or time, it is advised that make an itinerary using either the maps or the Calendar of exhibitions.

The website has a free exhibition calendar, digital maps and a directory of galleries for both Central and Greater Wellington.
