We have fourteen mostly ground-floor apartment-style units and studios with free parking directly outside each unit.

All 1 and 2-bedroom units have well equipped kitchens (some with full-sized ovens), the small studios have kitchenettes, all have free unlimited WIFI, LCD TVs, 50+ Sky channels, guest controlled heating, complimentary tea and coffee, sparkling bathroom facilities, electric blankets, ironing facilities, hairdryer.

Highly rated "must do's" include Burt Munro and vintage motorbike displays at E Hayes and Sons ('World's Fastest Indian' movie), Oreti Beach where part of the movie was shot, Bill Richardson Transport World and Motorcycle Mecca, Stirling Point Signpost (the South Island's most recognised southern point), Bluff Hill Lookout, Stewart Island (including Ulva Island, famous for its native birds and flora).

The two Transport World facilities are world class. Every detail has been planned and themed, including the cafes, display rooms and the rest rooms (each one is different so make time to visit all of them!) There is plenty to interest everyone and men, women and children have all been catered for in the displays.

OPEN daily - Dig This - another Transport World Attraction with an adult-sized gravel pit and full sized heavy equipment (bulldozers, excavators) for all to play on.

A number of outdoor recreation areas like the Queen's Park and Golf Course can be found in the middle of the city, walking distance from your motel. The city is blessed with many scenic walking and cycling tracks. Splash Palace Swimming Pool is great for young and old or if speed is your thing, Kart City Go-Karts. Ten pin bowlers are catered for at Superbowl and the list just goes on. And there is great shopping in the CBD!

Invercargill City, the southernmost and westernmost city in New Zealand, is centrally located for you to explore Stewart Island, Catlins Coast and the Fiordland area. This picturesque region boasts a number of unique things to see and do. Whether you want to comb miles of pristine beaches, cruise on the great lakes, ski down the scenic slopes, get an up-close look at yellow-eyed penguins, fish for our famous trout or try the world famous Bluff Oyster, this area has something for everyone. We are only too happy to help you with your itinerary while in the south.
