Product Description

Enjoy stunning volcanic scenery, including Cathedral Cove, towering rock pinnacles and sea caves. Look through the glass panels to explore an underwater world rich in marine life.

Our team of fabulous skippers and guides will take you on a two hour adventure, providing you with a fun commentary enriched with local history, Maori culture, geology and marine life information. All our boats have cabins for your protection and comfort, plus excellent scenic and glass panel viewing areas.

You can chose your level of fun. Either enjoy watching the marine life from the comfort of the boat or put on a mask and snorkel and dive in to swim amongst the fish. Equipment provided.

Departure Times

Tours depart daily from the Whitianga Wharf.

10.30am and 1pm departures all year round.

8am, 10.30am, 1pm and 4pm departures from December to April.

Alternative times may be available and can be seen on the Glass Bottom Boat Whitianga website.

Our tours do run on a tight schedule so we ask you to arrive 15mins before your departure time.

What To Bring

Dont forget to bring your camera, sunscreen and a light coat for the cooler months.

If you would like to snorkel please wear your swimmers under your clothes and bring a towel. We provide masks and snorkels however you are welcome to bring your own.

We do not provide refreshments so please bring your water bottle and your welcome to bring light snacks.
