Queenstown Full Day Tour Pass

This Queenstown tour option allows you to travel to 7 different venues throughout the day. Travel at your own pace and take your time as you enjoy all the local wine and beer tastings on offer along our bus route. Simply select your venues and plan your trip. We’ll take care of traveling needs and make sure that you receive great discount value at selected locations.

Queenstown Afternoon Run / Half Day

This option allows up to 4 venues with Hop on Hop off bus tours. Take advantage of the discounts offered at selected venues while you enjoy a wine tasting at any of the local wineries along our bus route, or beer tasting experience at the local breweries.

Queenstown Evening Beer (Wine & Food) Tour

Treat yourself or a loved one with an evening experience of up to 5 venues. This option is ideal for anyone interested in creating a memorable evening that offers 2 – 5 hours of the finest Queenstown cuisine.

Group Wine Tasting Experiences

This option is perfect for special occasions. Treat your group to an unforgettable wine or beer tour experience with the best that Queenstown has to offer. Ideal for a hen party, birthday, staff party, or any other occasion that requires tons of fun!

The story so far

Juliearna Kavanagh came up with the idea in 2010 when she wanted to have a tour where people made their own choices. The initial design was written down on a piece of paper and the idea was born. There was a delayed start, due to earthquakes in Christchurch in 2010 & 2011.  Instead her efforts were put into her hotel, the award winning Escape to Picton.

Then in 2013 Juliearna’s automated map of Marlborough cellar doors was created. This was a very different, up-market tour in Marlborough where clients could pick their own cellar door by making a wish list. The original www.escapetomarlborough.com is still running today. Customers travel in luxury Mercedes with the knowledge they had planned their own day with assistance along the way.

In March 2014, Hop on Hop off Wine Tours was launched. The Marlborough and Queenstown tours are constantly evolving with new operators, deals and improved scheduling.
