We two performance spaces Circa One and Circa Two. This year 25 shows are to staged, providing the region theatre-going audience a very busy and diverse bill of entertainment.

Circa commissions, workshops, and develops new works by New Zealand playwrights. We provide a high-quality professional environment for the production of shows of international standard.

Show duration can vary but usually are anything from 60-180 minutes with intermission if required.

Crica Theatre has a bar and restaurant for pre and post-show dinners, drinks and nibbles.

Circa Theatre is a Wellington based theatre located on the idyllic waterfront and right next to Te Papa and across from Takina our newest conference centre.

Circa Theatre comes with a 50-year history of world class and has gained a reputation as one of New Zealand’s liveliest and most innovative theatres.
