Join us for a fantastic day out on the water on a shared or private kingfish or snapper fishing charter from Paihia or Russell, in the Bay of Islands.   We have plenty of space on board for up to 12 anglers (6 for kingfish) and will make sure you enjoy your time whether you’re cruising around the bays and channels of the Bay of Islands, or pulling in the fish close to the shore or further afield.

The boat is perfect for groups up to 20 with an upstairs area, plenty of shade and a cabin area.  We can arrange catering or breakfast/lunch packs and tailor your day to suit you.  Christmas parties, birthday celebrations or friends and family getting together for a fun day out … we can make your day truly memorable.

On-board, we’ll bait your hooks, remove your catch and fillet and bag your fish ready to take home with you.

All trips include use of rods, reels, tackle and life jackets and we stop en route to catch fresh bait.

There's tea, coffee and water on board and you are most welcome to bring snacks/other beverages with you.

The boat offers:

5 Hour Shared Fishing Trip

Join us on an epic half day snapper adventure! Enjoy cruising the beautiful Bay of Islands as our awesome skipper takes you to one of his favourite spots. We'll catch some bait along the way and then it's lines over and let the fun begin! At the end of the day, we’ll fillet and bag your fish ready to take home with you. There’s tea/coffee/water on board but feel free to bring snacks and other beverages. This is a shared charter with other fisho’s (with a bit of friendly competition perhaps!). A fun day out living your best life in the Bay!

7 Hour Shared Kingfish Trip

Get ready for a sensational day out hunting kingfish in the beautiful Bay of Islands! Our skipper (also known as a fish-magnet) has some secret spots lined up to give you the best chance at hooking one of these beauties. There’s nothing quite like hitting the water as the sun comes up over the Bay and feeling that hit on your line as the battle begins! If you’ve fished for kingfish before, you’ll know you need plenty of room and the May Marie is perfect for up to 6 fishing. This is a shared charter with other fisho’s – lots of fun to be had!

5 Hour Private Trip

Step aboard for a fantastic day out with a private charter. You and your mates will have the boat to yourselves as you head out into the Bay ready for a great day out on the water.  With private charters we can tailor your day to suit you. There’s plenty of room on board to find your spot as well as a covered deck area to keep the sun at bay. We’ll provide the tea/coffee/water and you’re welcome to bring lunch, other beverages on board. At the end of the day, we’ll fillet and bag your catch.

Full Day Private Trip

Looking to spend longer on the water?  No problem!  Talk to us about tailoring a day to suit you.  Whether you want to spend all day fishing, do a mix of fishing and swimming at one of the islands or just explore the Bay, we can arrange your day to make it unforgettable.

In Summer months, afternoon trips leaving Paihia at 1.00pm may also be available. Please enquire.

We leave from Paihia Wharf and can also pick up from Waitangi Wharf or Russell Wharf.
