Lake Shore Trek $120/person - 45 min, min age 5+, max weight 100kg, beginner friendly, daily departures 3pm
Our Lake Shore trek is the perfect horse riding experience for families, first-time riders/beginners, or anyone looking for a gentle introduction to horseback riding among some of New Zealand's best kept scenery. This calm 45 minute trail combines the beauty of sprawling farmland, rugged mountain ranges and the famous crystal clear waters of Moke Lake, allowing you to fully take in the serene environment, experience epic views and connect with your horse in a peaceful, relaxed manner.
Moke Valley Trek $165/person - 90 min, min age 8+, max weight 95kg, beginner friendly, daily departures 12pm (transfers available from Queenstown CBD $50/person)
Our Moke Valley trek takes you on a scenic journey through varied terrain, including alpine valleys, gentle hills, and along the tranquil shores of Moke Lake. As you ride, you'll be treated to stunning views of the surrounding mountains with opportunities to take in the scenery from different vantage points and capture the perfect photo of your adventure. This route may also include crossing glacial fed streams and navigating through native bush, adding a touch of adventure to the experience.
Gills Canyon Trek $250/person - 2 hours, min age 12+, max weight 85kg, intermediate + riders (due to terrain), daily departures 9am
The Gills Canyon trek takes you on a stunning scenic route, offering breath-taking views as you navigate our vast valleys and alpine forests. This journey includes an exciting mix of terrain from open meadows and gentle hills to rugged ridged mountain paths, sweeping canyons and creek crossings, you might even see a waterfall cascading from the mountain side! If you have a sense of adventure and love nature, this is the experience for you! Suited to intermediate riders and above due to terrain.
Please dress to the weather conditions and temperature.
Long comfortable pants, suitable sturdy closed covered footwear (no large heels, crocs or sandals permitted), sunscreen/insect repellent.
A water bottle and sunglasses are also recommended.
A phone or small camera is recommended to capture your memories (your responsibility).

We provide helmets and wet weather jackets if required. Helmets are worn at all times when riding a horse.
Moke Lake is approx 20mins from Queenstown CDB, Allow travel time between activities
