Cash or Bee Card only - bank card payments are not available on buses.
To access concession fares, you must have a Bee Card and remember to tag on and off the bus. You can order and register the card online or purchase it from one of our retailers, our Queenstown office, or on the bus.
Use a Bee Card to get a cheaper fare. Bee Cards cost $5 and must be loaded with a minimum of $5. You can order and register a Bee Card online or purchase a Bee Card from one of our retailers, our Queenstown office, or from the driver on the bus. Remember to tag on and off with your Bee Card to access the cheaper fare.
After you have bought your Bee Card from a retailer or a bus driver, please note it can take up to 12 hours before you can register the card online and add concessions. We recommend waiting until the next day before you use it. If you loaded money onto your Bee Card as you purchased it, you can use the funds straight away.
