Mary and Wade welcome you to Panorama Motor Lodge, situated on The Bay Hill in central Timaru and overlooking beautiful Caroline Bay. A large, modern motel complex with a great choice of accommodation options from studio units to family units. Enjoy a superb location close to the beach, with coastal and mountain views, yet next door to all city facilities. It is ideally suited for corporate customers, travellers and families. There is a range of units including studio, 1-bedroom and 2-bedroom family units, together with off-site self-contained apartments able to cater for up to 13 people. They are spacious with modern decor and free WiFi is available to all guests. 

 

Accommodation Options

 

Studio 

These Studio units have Alpine Views and either a balcony or courtyard. Some units have a spa bath. If you would like a unit with a spa bath then please request this at time of booking. All Studios feature a kitchenette with tea and coffee making facilities. There is a Queen size bed in the lounge area as well as a Flatscreen TV with Sky Guest Select.

         

 

One Bedroom Suite 

The One Bedroom Suite has a balcony or courtyard overlooking Caroline Bay. There is a kitchenette and a private bathroom. There is a queen bed in bedroom and a sofa bed in the Lounge. There is a flatscreen TV with Sky Guest Select. Please note the sofa bed is on request only, please make contact directly.

      

 

Deluxe One Bedroom Suite 

Newly renovated One Bedroom Suite has a balcony or courtyard overlooking Caroline Bay. There is a kitchenette and a private bathroom. There is a queen bed in bedroom and a sofa bed in the Lounge. There is a flatscreen TV with Sky Guest Select. Please note you will be charged extra for the sofabed.

      

 

Superior One Bedroom Suite 

The Superior One Bedroom Suite has a balcony or courtyard with views overlooking Caroline Bay. There is a kitchenette and a private bathroom. There is a queen bed in the bedroom and a flatscreen TV with Sky Guest Select in the lounge.

      

 

Two Bedroom Suite 

The Two Bedroom Suite has either a balcony or courtyard that has an Alpine View. There is a queen bed in one bedroom and the second bedroom has two single beds. Please note that bedding configurations may differ. There is a full kitchen and separate lounge area that has a flatscreen TV with Sky Guest Select. You have a private bathroom with some units having a spa bath, please request this at time of booking if you would like one.

Location Information

 

Panorama Motor Lodge is close to cafés and restaurants, is only a 3-minute walk to the CBD and has panoramic sea or city views from most units. Timaru is situated on the main coastal road between Christchurch (2 hour drive) and Dunedin (2.5 hour drive). We are also close to the route to Aoraki Mt Cook, being a 1.5 hour drive away.
