Product Overview

We have 3 different heights to choose from:

• From 15,000ft you will freefall for up to 60 seconds.
• From 12,000ft you will freefall for up to 45 seconds.
• From 9,000ft you will freefall for up to 25 seconds.

Maximum weight is 115kg/253lbs.

All persons 95kgs or more are subject to Tandem Master assessment at the drop zone. 

There is no maximum age limit! We have taken passengers up to 94 years of age.

The ability for a child to jump is determined by their age (6 years and over), weight, size and how the harness fits. The minimum weight is 30kg/66lbs and minimum height is 1.2m/47.2inches. All passengers must fit securely into the harness.

Children 12 years and under are permitted to skydive from a maximum height of 9 000ft.

All children are subject to an assessment on the day by the Tandem Master.

Passengers under 18 years require written parental/guardian consent.

Welcome to Skydive Wanaka- New Zealand’s most spectacular, multi award winning, high altitude tandem skydive! Your incredible scenic flight to altitude captures 360 degree views of NZ’s highest mountains, glaciers, lakes and rivers. Freefall from up to 15 000 feet, at 200kph/124mph and then soar under parachute above snow-capped peaks before landing safely back at the drop zone.

 

Departure Times

9:00am, 10:00am, 11:00am and 1:00pm (Saturday and Sunday)

Non-operational Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Duration

The entire experience takes 3.5 hours. 

What To Bring

Customers will need to bring comfortable clothes and closed shoes.
