Product Description

The farm is educational for all ages, as the Farm Tour does not only allow visitors to interact with the farm animals, they also can enjoy getting up close and personal with the animals by feeding and patting them.

Listen to the stories from your guide as you go around the farm, and if you have any questions they are more than happy to answer them.

The Farm Tour is available on weekends during the school terms, and every day over the school holidays and long weekends.

From early 1930s, the farm was established to create what it was like on a working farm for tourists to experience and was a part of the Rainbow Springs tourist attraction.
Today the Rotorua Heritage Farm has been developed to bring back the traditional Farm Tour of yesteryear for tourists to enjoy and become a part of the experience.
The Farm Tour is not a zoo but an actual working animal farm where visitors can pat and feed sheep, cattle, deer, ostrich and alpaca.
