Urbantics missions are part outdoor escape room, part scavenger hunt, and part great race. The perfect way to discover Wellington.

Product Description

Your Urbantics mission is an urban adventure where you and your friends explore the city, solving mission puzzles and tasks, a bit like you do in an escape room.

You’ll be engaging with some local historical points of interest. There's no time pressure, and we hope that you make time to enjoy the fascinating historical titbits we serve up.

Six or more people? We'll split you into multiple squads so you can compete against each other. For more than 12 squad members, get in touch with us at [email protected].

Concerned about weather, pandemics, kidnappings, or poisonings stopping you from getting to your mission? Don't worry, it's simple to move your booking to a different date or cancel.

If you know Wellington, we’ll show you something new, or at least change the way you look at the same old. If you’re new to town, there’s no better way to get to know it! All combined with excellent puzzles and the satisfaction of cracking them open.

Departure Times

Urbantics Spy Skills mission: between 12:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m. We recommend this mission for first-time visitors to Wellington.

Urbantics Paranormal mission: between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

Duration

Spy Skills: 3-4 hours although a shorter mission is available

Paranormal: 2-3 hours

What To Bring

You will need at least one mobile device with data. Ensure you have plenty of battery charge or even an additional battery pack.

Clothing and footwear suitable for walking around in the city and on the waterfront. You may have heard that Wellington can be a little breezy - come prepared!

Ensure you've applied sunblock before you embark on your mission.

Remember your reading glasses if you need them.
